“She wants to go to Bridging the Gap”
“She was able to communicate”
One of the best things Sithvika has grown a lot in since she started joining Bridging the Gap. Daddy even added, “she can reply to you”, smiling proudly as he reflected on the journey.
For the family, these small moments became meaningful milestones, as they were able to witness Sithvika slowly finding her voice and expressing herself more confidently each day.
More than the communication, Daddy also shared that he is happy that Sithvika is enjoying BtG and will always look forward to coming to school.
“All the other school, she doesn’t want to come back but here, she likes to come back”. Daddy gratefully says, “first in the morning, she says, “I want to go BtG”.
Hearing her excitement every morning brings joy and comfort to the family, knowing that Sithvika feels safe, happy, and welcomed in school.
“We saw the improvement”, though for Daddy, everyday may not be what the family expected to happen, but he is very grateful that Sithvika is able to “request a lot” and “speak a lot”.
With pride, he shared that every day she will wonder and express what she wants to do. The family treasures every little achievement and continues to celebrate how far Sithvika has come in her learning journey. Seeing her communicate more, share her thoughts, and confidently express her needs has been a heartfelt and meaningful experience for them.
